The Buffalo Bandits defeated the Saskatchewan Rush, 15-6, in Game 3 of the National Lacrosse League Finals to win their third straight NLL championship.

Buffalo has won the NLL Cup six times in the franchise’s history, including back-to-back championships in 1992-1993. The Bandits have now won seven league titles, the most in league history, passing the Philadelphia Wings and Toronto Rock.

Ian MacKay was named Finals MVP.

Josh Byrne led the way for the Bandits with four goals and adding five assists, Dhane Smith added three goals and three assists, and Chris Cloutier, who was activated from IR, also had three goals for the Bandits.
